Zim Zam 2009
Started in 1997 by a faculty member and a few student from Heidelberg in South Africa this outreach tour has grown in leaps and bounds. This tour takes place during the winter holidays and goes all the way to Zambia where the outreach starts. Various projects have been tackled by each year's group, including construction of much needed structures, medical outreach and more. Not only does this initiative radically change lives of local Zambian villagers, but even more so the volunteers that choose to give some of their time to reach out and to show they care.
This year's ZimZam is on schedule for the end of July. If you would like to get involved but are not able to make the trip please consider one of the following ways to still make a difference.
- financial assistance to someone else that has time to offer but can't carry the cost
- sponsoring or donating equipment. vehicles, trailers, generators, gas, etc...
- financial contributions to any of the BtB projects will enable the volunteers to make progress on these projects during this tour.
